Christy Schick, LICSW Intentional Living, PA
I am a relational therapist who believes we are always in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and with every experience we encounter. I am committed to creating spaces where authenticity, ease, and healing can thrive. My hope is to honor the depth and power of your strengths and sensitivity as you navigate your own path of healing.
With nearly 25 years of experience in mental health, I specialize in supporting highly sensitive individuals and integrating spirituality into therapy. I offer a compassionate, client-centered space where you can explore your unique beliefs—whether you identify as atheist, spiritual, or anywhere in between—and desire working through a wide range of personal needs. I help you integrate all aspects of yourself into the healing process, providing support no matter where you are on your journey.

Trauma and PTSD can leave lasting imprints on both the mind and body, often showing up as intrusive memories, hypervigilance, emotional numbness or a sense of disconnection from self and others. Therapy provides a safe, supportive space to process these experiences, calm the nervous system, and build healthier coping strategies. With the right support, healing is possible, and life can feel safe, connected, and meaningful again.
Brainspotting is a somatic (body based) alternative approach to talk therapy that helps access and process deeply held trauma by using eye positions to connect with the body’s innate wisdom for healing. When integrated with spirituality, it can deepen the sense of meaning, connection, and inner guidance, allowing clients to not only release emotional pain but also align with their higher sense of purpose. This blend supports both emotional healing and spiritual growth in a grounded, holistic way.
One of my greatest joys as a mental health provider is serving folks who explore and open to radical intimacy within their relationship constructs. This takes a sense of faith in self and others to let go of conditioned ideas around intimacy and relationships. As a queer and poly person/therapist it is an honor to hold space for brave souls digging deep to fiercely discern their own definition of what it means to love and be loving in a relationship.
